Following a momentous 2025, Rod has rolled into 2026 as hot as ever. At the moment, he consistently averages over 82.3 million weekly streams. Moreover, he closed out last year as “the third most-streamed artist in the U.S. on Audiomack and in the Top 15 of overall on-demand audio artists.” Not to mention, he sold out every date of his arena headline tour, “The Redemption Experience.” Not to mention, he garnered a nomination at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards in the category of “Best Song Written for Visual Video” for “Sinners.” Of course, it stands out as the title track and lead single from the 2x-time 83rd Golden Globe Award-winning, Ryan Coogler epic box office smash Sinners.
Nobody has tapped into the heartbeat of the culture quite like Rod Wave has. The Florida-born chart-dominating multiplatinum singer, rapper, storyteller, and visionary has left blood, sweat, tears, spirit, and soul on every track he’s ever made, emerging as one of his generation’s most honest voices. By opening up without apology, he has resonated worldwide with dozens of multiplatinum, platinum, and gold certifications, over 15 billion streams, and sold out arena tours. Not to mention, he logged three straight #1 debuts on the Billboard 200 with SoulFly [2021], Beautiful Mind [2022], and Nostalgia [2023], while Last Lap [2024] marked his fifth Top 5 debut in five years. Plus, his catalog boasts the 4x-Platinum “Heart On Ice,” 3x-Platinum “Street Runner,” and more. Beyond collaborations with everyone from Lil Durk to 21 Savage, he recorded the title track and closing credits anthem “Sinners” for Ryan Coogler’s blockbuster Sinners with Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld. The track garnered a nomination at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards in the category of “Best Song Written for Visual Video.” Showing no signs of stopping or slowing down anytime soon, he continues to push forward with more music in 2025 and beyond. Rod Wave has struck a chord without comparison, and his impact will reverberate through the game for a long time to come. It’s just the beginning of his reign.
